Intensity yields results. Dragging your feet and half-assing workouts, work, or any task will leave you disappointed, in the results and in yourself. Pat Sherwood once said “you don’t need harder workouts, you need to workout harder.” Put so simple and eloquently it’s easy to brush these words aside as another cheesy, motivational quote, but it he couldn’t be more spot on. Put aside the fancy stuff and just WORK. Build the pyramid base WIDE, so we can build the point tall.
Today’s WOD will give you the chance to do just that. It will give you the chance to push yourself as hard (or as softly) as you choose. The results will reflect your effort, and I love simple WODs that require nothing more than effort, because it takes zero skill, zero talent, and zero ability… just pure desire, want, and DRIVE.
